This is an absolutely wonderful new online resource for Alice...Learn Spanish from the Guardian.
Alice just downloaded all 4 episode for her iPod upload...she is going to listen to them on her trip to UK and Portugal next week.

Eriza
Alice finally got this wonderful camera, Digital Harinezumi!
Harinezumi is a Japanese term for hedgehog, the Spanish equivalent is eriza.
Alice uses eriza, not erizo, because she also has a little female hedgehog!
Practiced pronunciation
OK, Alice practiced the pronunciation with Professor Jason's video...now go back and practice a couple more time...

Lesson 1: Pronunication
Phil suggested that Alice should get a lesson in pronunciation first. As all good learners, the first place to hit is YouTube. She now subscribes to this channel. With an American teaching, Alice also doesn't need to decide which Spanish she is going to learn.
- Video searched from YouTube;
- the pronunciation video downloaded via YouTube Downloader; and
- watched half of the video.
Learning Spanish
It is definite...Alice is learning some Spanish...it has taken her 2 years to actually to get to it. The original idea was that she was going to start learning with the freak boy, but now, it has been 2 year (or a year?) since he started, and Alice is still not doing anything.
Alice knows herself to be a relatively laid-back person and she absolutely hates grammar, so there is not going to be any formal Spanish classes. Here is her only principle in this exploration:
Learn through popular cultural texts and digitally mediated texts
OK, the definition of popular cultural text is going to be quite loose. Anything that Alice found to be associated with popular culture, particularly those not specifically designed for foreign language learners and any online materials (must be free and available to the widest possible audience).
